Other Series - Miscellaneous

Here we have a mix of characters that have inspired me to do fanart of them, whether they belong to famous professional artists, or amateur artists I have made friends with.

Wow...I think this is the oldest piece of art on Crimson Sky Creations. As you can tell, I was really into Nintendo. This came out really well, which is why it got saved for so long, and then scanned and thrown here.
Hee hee. I'm really sorry this contest didn't end, I was so proud of the attack I "made up".
One night after beating Street Fighter II (the original, for SNES) I decided to try my hand at drawing my very first video game girl obsession.
Sydney's contest asked us to give her a makeover, so I went with a blue theme. Darn she got a lot of entries!

Since Jess had drawn so much for me, I decided to draw her chimerian character for her. I don't like the way the face came out, though, I've got a sketch somewhere on looseleaf that came out much better. I think I gave her that one, though.
For a contest...I love original Trek...add that with Shatner's Priceline commercials, and voila!
Drew the bishonen (not that *I* find him attractive) villain from Pokemon for a contest.
I had seen Vision of Escaflowne at the Big Apple Anime Convention, and fell in love with Merle. She's SOOO annoying, but she's SOOO cute!!!

Isn't this pretty? I got the background from a Google image search--I used it on my November 01 layout--but the pose and dress are all me. The character belongs to Gina Biggs of The Tour.
Wanted to try my hand at doing some of my favorite leading ladies of fandom--here's my favorite X-Man (other than Gambit ::drool::)
I did this during lunch at work. I did it in pencil, with nothing to spray on it to keep it from smudging. I then carried it VERY carefully home on the subway so that it didn't accidentally brush up against anything. I was originally going to crop it, to cut out the edges where my pencil trailed off, but then I thought, it actually fit the Lord of Dreams.
If Mara can have an imaginary daughter, then I can have imaginary sewing skills.

Once upon a time, there was an Endless named Delight. She was not to stay Delight for long...
My LJ friend, Mobobocita, gave me a lovely gift of new markers, so I wanted to use all the ones she had given me (primarily blues) to draw her a thank you picture. Since Mobo thinks of herself as somewhat of a Fairy Godmother, I thought some of the original fairy godmothers would be fitting.
Mara's drawn me so many beautiful pictures, I really wanted to draw something for her that showed her how grateful I am and how much she means to me.
Mara doodled this in my sketchbook two visits ago, then inked it on her last visit, so I colored it in Paintshop Pro! I don't know what Gri and I are talking about, but we're obviously having a wonderful time. :)

I don't entirely remember what inspired this picture. I *think* it was that Isabel II of Spain was a featured link on Wikipedia...but I can't remember why that made me think of Hikaru. I know that I planned on doing "princess" versions of Umi and Fuu, based on the royal costumes of India and China, respectively, but honestly I sat on this drawing for so long--it was started in the summer of 2014--that by the time I was finished with it, I couldn't tell if I was really done with it, or just tired of looking at it. I guess we'll have to see.
