Requests - Miscellaneous

I get asked to do quite a bit of art--especially in pic exchanges--from anime and manga and video games that I don't know anything about, but I always try to do my best.

You guessed it--the more detail a picture has, the more likely I am to leave it in black and white. It usually doesn't even make it to ink. I'm too afraid of messing it up.
Wow! And suddenly, just like that, Crissy learned to shade!! I still love this pic.
I know his head is too small, but at this point I was just making leaps and bounds with shading.
Oh, my, GOD the picture I copied this from was SO beautiful, there is no possible way I could've done it justice.

More Tenchi Muyo! art. I'm really good at shading these, apparently.
What a cute little girl, I wish I knew more about this series...but at least this came out pretty much true to the original.
Cat girls are fun to draw, too! I like how she came out. I played Breath of Fire 2 very briefly, but I remember really liking her.
There are some odd things wrong with this picture that I can't quite put my finger on, but the overall impression you get is, I think, good.

I've never seen Fushiggi Yuugi, so I have no idea how true this is to his character, but it looks okay to me. Not great, but not bad.
This is another pic exchange that got me really nervous because she wanted to do it on oekaki, something I was NOT used to, nor good at, using. I took hours on this picture to get it to look like this, so I am actually kind of proud of it. No more oekaki for me, though! Phew!
Ooh...old school anime. Go Speed Racer! Go Speed Racer! Go Speed Racer, go! Okay, seriously now, I have never heard of this series, but I read up on this character while searching for a reference pic and she seemed pretty cool! And it was a lot of fun drawing in this style, and I like the way it came out.
Another pic I was scared to do because of my reverence for the character. I love Aeris. I mourned for her when she died. But this didn't come out terribly at all...though it's tiny...

I just really like the Final Fantasy series. Princess Garnet wasn't too hard to draw, but the details on her dress were really hard to make out in the screen shot I was looking at for reference, so they are kind of fuzzy in my pic.
Fatal Fury is actually my favorite anime, even more so than Sailor Moon, which is probably why I've never really attempted to draw from it. But this shot of Mai didn't come out too badly at all. I'm still not brave enough to draw Terry, though. u.u
Another picture I got sloppy on and had to go back and fix...but I wanted to do really well for Shinryu, since he had drawn me 3 pictures to feed my Terry Bogard obsession! I downloaded a moving .gif of Iori doing a move, took it apart in my JASC animation software, picked a frame that showed both his face, his laces, and the design on his back, squinted at it for a few hours, and drew this! A lot of effort, but I think it came out okay.
Hey I actually kind of like the way this came out. I wish I knew more about the character, though. That shade of hair is SO hard to get! Just like Pluto's.

Here's a request I put off doing for the longest time because I love Sephy so much I was TERRIFIED to try to draw him. My hands were shaking so bad, and still this drawing only got done in pencil, and not all of the picture at that. But besides all that, I really like this picture, I'm impressed with the level of detail I was able to get with just a pencil.
I LOVE drawing Tenchi Muyo characters! I've never seen the anime, but they are so easy to draw! I love it!
Wow, it took me SO long to figure out whether Ed was a boy or a girl! I was testing new markers, so the colors didn't come out as I'd like.
Ooh, Lum is pretty! The colors aren't exact because I wanted to use my prisma markers and I don't have a lot of different shades, but I still think this came out really well! I drew this for my dear Fory-san to thank him for all he's done for me.

Ru asked for me to draw a "winged creature" of some sort. Since her two favorite characters seem to be Haruka and Utena, and I had already done a fairy Haruka, I decided to do Utena with wings. Somehow the phrase "rose colored glasses" popped into my head, which then somehow turned into "Rose Tinted Wings", which somehow suggested rose colored stained glass wings. The background was purely spontaneous after I finished coloring it, but I LOVE how it came out! Incidentally, if you want to see a larger version of the inset, go to Random Extras, I'm storing it there.
I think I'm falling out of love with these pens. They seem to bleed so much, both Excel, and the Chibiusa I tried drawing, looked like they had clown lips.
