Selphy says: "I have always wanted to do this costume and when I finally got the chance to attend Otakon I felt it was the best opportunity to debut such a huge project. (50+ Hours of Work, everything was custom dyed.) I enlisted the help of LadyUtena because I just ADORE the way she made her Manga Super and I thought it would be fun to match. She was a great help and gave me BUNCHES of pointers on how she made her costume, she even made my back bow, accessories and shoulder pieces so they would match hers." |

"After exhausting all my funds to make this costume (and attend Otakon) I didn't have money left over to purchase a wig; so the fantastically wonderful Nami lent me hers for the day. I am very grateful to her because it helped pull everything together and I had a TON of very flattering comments on how great the costume was and how adorable I looked. I was all around a great experience and a fantastic change from the usual Sailor Venus (although she will always be my favorite.)" | |
