The following costume and narrative of such is by Bunny-chan:
"I found the boots at a second hand store (for $5 it was close enough, ya know?). I bought the red and white spray paint from Wal-Mart and sprayed layer it till it was mostly uniform in colour. The wooden cresent moons were also found at Wal-mart and are painted using the Crayola Glitter Glue (gold colour). Don't use the generic brands for this, as Ive tried on other things--trust me." |
"I bought the skirt from Danielle and Co. and found the rainbow trim at Joanne's in Merced. I consider myself very lucky, as I didn't think fabric existed like this and I really wanted my skirt to be like the manga version. The belt was made with white fabric stuffed with batting and rolled up gold fabric."

"The white leotard is also from Danielle and Co. The bow was made after I saw a pattern on how to do it, and the 'brooch' was made from a heart iron-on patch, silver sequins, and acryllic beads, all from Wal-Mart." |
"I used my last attempt at a Sailor Senshi outfit as a guide to make a one piece flap, as opposed to the three the last was. I found a gold ribbon that had the three segments for the flap, and used a regular single gold ribbon for the collar, with a red acryllic heart on it." |
"I used a wedding tiara and cut it to fit my forehead. I spray painted gold and glued on a wooden moon glittered in silver." |
"I spray painted a brass ring white, and glued it to red fabric before attatching it to my rolled-up hair." |
"I bought the gloves at an Afterthoughts, and made the gauntlets from red fabric
and stuffing it with batting." |
"This costume was my first major attempt at making a *serious* costume. It was thrown on hastily for this shoot, so somethings aren't on "properly" or look a bit messy ^^* I messed up my back bow, between moving and such, so it isn't featured."
I'd say she did a good job, ne? |
