Guest Art - Me

I dearly love to see how people draw me, especially in anime style. So many more things are possible on paper then they are in real life.

Probably the first time I ever begged someone to draw for me. My friend Ailis and I were stuck in some drunk driving seminar at high school, so she sketched me as I sat next to her.
The choreographer on the musical we did my freshman year of college, Liz, drew pictures as a little thank you for all the members of the cast. I've still got this taped to my mirror in my bedroom.
Based on some fanfic characters me, Jess, Rob, and Annie would play with.

Mara started a comic based on her, me, Jess, and Rob. It was pretty funny, but it had a lot of in jokes.
Alex was bored one night, so I said "Draw me," kidding around, and like a half an hour later, he showed up on my doorstep with this amazing drawing!
Yeah, the reason Annie's on my lap is because I had to physically restrain her while her boyfriend drew this picture. She kicked the table and everything!

For my birthday, Mara offered to draw me something, so I asked her to throw me a birthday party in the Firstborn universe.
Mara and I were hanging out at Lou's house, and she did a Disney-esque picture of me with watercolors! It came out so pretty, that I asked her to do one of her, and then one of Lou, to match. You can see those in Guest Art - Others' Original Characters.

Earlier this year, Mike and I had discussed the possibility of him Photoshopping mermaid tails onto my friend JenyBean and myself, since we don't have the disposable income to buy the costume ones. Since Jen and I never got around to taking pictures by the pool, Mike drew what we might look like for my birthday art instead.
I've been trying to be more active in the cosplay community as of late, and this has led in turn to me being active on the Cosplay.com forums. I've met a wonderful group of people, especially in the "What's up with you" thread, and one of the girls on there was offering to sketch people doing random things. I knew Emmers was nice, but I didn't know she was so talented!
See? Random. Hilarious!
Mike Moon has a blog alongside Catgirl Island called "The Mew", where he and his catgirl characters review the latest movies, T.V., music, comics, and all that jazz. Every year, he does an award show on there, complete with descriptions of the "celebrities" that are arriving, and what they're wearing. Mike's invited me to be a guest at the award show before, and this year when he asked me if I'd like to go, and who I'd like to go with and what I'd like to be wearing, I told him that I was so taken with his latest art of "Purrsis" that I wouldn't mind being seen escorting her! And since I had a lady as a date, I might as well wear a feminine tuxedo, right? Well, the next time Mike asked me what I'd like as a gift art, I asked him to draw me and Purrsis arriving at the awards, since I had enjoyed the idea so much. This art came out *phenomenally*--look at all the detail in the background and the other characters! And I like how my tuxedo harkens back to my Zatanna costume. Mike's really the best. :)
