Original Art - Miscellaneous

Here are some other drawings of mine that had various inspirations, mostly my friends.

Wow...old stuff here. How am I supposed to remember what I was thinking? Actually, I do. I remember drawing this one because I thought Skye would like it. It's got her kind of hair style, and it's evil, and there's blue.
I wanted to draw a lady with blonde hair and black skin, and then I wanted her to be really beautiful and smiling, and then for you almost not to notice what she had hidden in her hand, down by her side...
An innocent truth seeker.
I lived in a very rich fantasy world. I also apparently used to bother to do backgrounds.

Revenge of the nerds, indeed. Jennine was taking karate at the time, and the logo on her T shirt is a name of a band her whole family was into. Super Leanora was our class valedictorian. And Eagle Eyes Cris is, of course, me, and it's ironic because I'm practically legally blind.
I drew this for Skye so she'd have a picture to send out over the Internet when guys asked for it. She likes wings and she likes blue. I think it kind of looks like her.
This was by far the most amount of detail I had ever done at the time. It still ranks right up there.
My RPG character, back when Rhydin and the Red Dragon Inn were where it was at. Ah, the good old days. I still like this character a lot.

Lady Lily PaleWyng

colored pencils

Lily was a lot of fun to draw, both in her "wench" clothing from her background, and in the elegant gowns of her present.
She of course was based loosely on me, with the curly hair and the pale skin and all.
Ah I copied these poses, and the poem, from my Crow comic books. I think it lended itself nicely.
My friend Diane was feeling a little blue, so I drew this empowering picture of her. Yes, a rip off of SheRa, but it cheered her up.

I was playing with glitter crayons so I decided to try Super Leanora again.
I was going to turn them into a comic based on the exploits of me and my friend Robin, but then Rob and I stopped hanging out, so I kind of lost interest. I was trying to make this picture more American style than manga.
I wanted to draw a giftie for my friend Trish to let her know how much I love her. ^.^
I drew this for Alison on her birthday because she is one of the sweetest girls in the world!

Yes this sailor is based on me, credit to Rob for coming up with the name. I tried to make her look as efficient as possible.
This is Skye's original character, but it's in the original section because I made her into a Sailor! I forgot her wings, though, baka Crissy.
I was actually blonde as a child, and of course I didn't wear glasses, but I thought it would be cute to make this a sort of Chibi-me for a baby contest.
Sigh...the dreams of youth.

My Favorite Dream

computer colored, photo background

I drew a pretty picture of my friend Skye because she complained that I always dressed her up in slutty clothing.
Alex and I had gotten into an argument, and we were just kind of sitting on opposite sides of the room, drawing furiously. I was too upset to get the picture of Princess Jupiter I was trying to come out right, so I drew this. Which came out much better than I expected.
I posed my cousin Vanessa for this. It was for a contest where you had to draw the necklace in pretty much any setting. I think this came out pretty--there are a lot of different shades in it.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! This was so much fun to draw! What do you think?

I realized after I did two of them that the lines of my PowerPuff Girls were really digital looking. So I tried a thinner pen to see if that would make a difference. Next, I'm going to try hand coloring one.
JenyBean drew me a beautiful picture of me as a catgirl for my birthday, so I wanted to return the favor and draw her as her favorite senshi, Mercury.
I was in New Jersey, and my mom has a less than super intelligent dog whom I decided to try drawing my hand at. Hilarity ensues.
So, guess what anime I just got into! This was so much fun to do. I did the basic figure (and idea), Alex cleaned stuff up and inked and chose the outfit, then I colored and did the necessary computer things. Fun fun fun!

I've had this idea for a schoolgirl uniform for a while. I still think my scanner is messing up the colors though.
I really like the way the wind is blowing in this pic.
I'm still way into Utena. I just wanted to see if I'd like the Rose Bride dress if it were more in my colors. I think I do. :)
As you can tell, we're all really big fans of Clerks: The Animated Series. Yes, even though it was only 6 episodes long. Four of which were never aired. Anyway. I'm not even supposed to be here today! Ha ha.

I needed to draw SOMETHING to break out of my rut, and drawing myself all gothy and schoolgirly always makes me feel better. Lou said he needed the practice coloring, so I turned it over to him. Isn't the background amazing??
This "character" is for a project Louis and Matt are working on, that I don't want to say too much about. I will, instead, say that Holly's design is influenced in equal parts by a talking Cabbage Patch doll I got when I was 9, Diane from Trainspotting, and Hime-chan's fanfic version of grown-up Chibiusa. The tie is a little nod to Vash the Stampede.
"I won't stand in your way. If this is what you feel you have to do, I won't try to stop you. But you shouldn't do it. You're better than this. You're better than them." .... ....<BLAM>. "No. I'm not." And this is why Green Lanterns are not allowed to fall in love with each other.
I've been pretty addicted to Tomodachi Life ever since I got it, and of course I made all of my friends and relatives in the game. My future step-sister-in-law looked so CUTE in this outfit with little Lum horns, I just had to draw her, though I ended up leaving the horns off. I've had this idea kicking around in my head for at least a couple of months, but I decided to finally get it on paper because I figured she could really use the pick-me-up.
